9. Internation Driving license & Driving Licence, NRIC, Passport, Certificates (all need to be scanned) [checked]

10. Draft out 1 month plan-Objectives
    -within 1 week to familiarise with the transport, surrounding, settle bank acct, Job interview.
    -within 1 month should be employed, still stick to budget expenditure, draft out a new expenditure plan based on Monthly Salary & TravellingFund.
    within 6 months - save enough for Europe trips-Switzerland, Finland, Germany, Spain, Barcelona, Italy etc (would look into ways for budget trip)

blessing from my parents...

guess what? My MUM had told my dad(when I’m not around) about my plan and knowing that I’m going with a friend. He didn’t really pour me cold water. My mum told me, he said maybe let her go out to exp hardship so she will grow up. oh no I’m going to cry. He asked my mum whether my friend’s dad 舍得吗？hahaha when my mum asked tat qnt to my dad, he kept quiet. hmmmm so now i got the blessing from my parents…=)

Initally only my mum and 2nd sis know about my GREAT PLAN.

NOW MY WHOLE FAMILY KNOW ABT MY PLAN....THEY LOVE ME VERY MUCH!

A traveller in process 22 Aug - 08 Nov 2008

This blog begin for a purpose—travelling. It was started right after my Working Holiday Visa got approved.
I’m going to be a full-time pennyless traveller in 2 months time…counting down to November.
I gotta start planning ahead the trip. Wish me luck!

So what need to be resolved?

Why am I doing this?

I’m pursuing after a dream to become a traveller/backpacker. I realised I have never fulfill any dream before. I had dreamed of becoming a ballerina but I never pick up ballet. I don’t have much dream because since young I followed the Singapore education system—kindergarten->Primary->Secondary->Poly->Uni and ended up in a field which I didn’t like at all. At a tender age, I was never ask what my dream is. Nobody say “Go after your dream. Go and pursue what you desire.”

Actually, I can be content with what I have right now. A secured job, a wonderful family & friends, most importantly a caring & supportive boyfriend. so Why am I choosing this route? guess is the desire to travel, to see the world, to experience a different culture, to live without regret and able to tell stories to my kids, grandchildren. I can’t say I have always wanted to do it, it was a struggle for me till now to begin from zero again not once but thrice but once I had started, there is no more looking back. So let see will I make it happen.

If I really travel to UK in Nov, my dream to become a traveller will come true.
If I make it back after 1.5 years, my dream has been fulfilled.

This shall stay in my heart for the time being - ‘If things are so easy to achieve, then it is no more a dream to strike for!’
